Banana Flavored "Junket" Pudding

This is real similar to the Junket pudding I used to have as a kid, but the real Junket doesn't come in banana flavor. The banana extract was Watkins brand, but it was imitation. I didn't realize that until after I brought it home and opened it up. I will make good use of it, but will not buy it again because it is not pure. If you can find pure banana extract, definitely use that instead!

Banana Flavored 'Junket' Custard Pudding (Copy Cat Recipe Type)

2 cups whole milk
1 1/2 Tbs. fructose ( I used Stevia)
1 tsp. vanilla ( I used banana extract)
5 drops liquid rennet ( you can get Rennet at a health food store)
1 Tbs. cold water

Set out 4 or 5 dessert dishes. Combine milk, fructose, and vanilla. Heat to lukewarm ( about 115•F). Dilute 5 drops of Rennet in 1 Tbs. of cold water, add to warm and stir for a few seconds only. Pour at once while still liquid, into individual dessert dishes. Let stand undisturbed 15 minutes. Place in refrigerator to chill. Source: Malaka Brand liquid Rennet.

Great Product For the Circulatory System

Here is a page that gives the results of research that was done using Juice Plus Vineyard. The results were amazing after the subjects had a high-fat meal. The results of the placebo group were about the same as the beginning of the research study. The group that used the basic Juice Plus capsules had better results, but the group that used the basic Juice Plus, and the Juice Plus Vineyard had the greatest change. Here is an excerpt from the article:

Four weeks of the JP-V combination blunted the detrimental effect of the high-fat meal (􏰁47.5 􏰀 23.4% at baseline vs. 􏰁1.7 􏰀 9.7% at four weeks [p 􏰂 0.05]). Four weeks of JP alone had a similar beneficial effect (􏰁45.1 􏰀 19.7% at baseline vs. 􏰁16.6 􏰀 10.3% at four weeks [p 􏰂 0.05]), whereas there was no substantial effect of the placebo. In the subjects treated with supplements, concentrations of serum nitrate/nitrite increased from 78 􏰀 39 to 114 􏰀 62 􏰄m/l (p 􏰂 0.02).

I have two doctors of mine who speak highly of Juice Plus. I also have personally heard from several people who are taking Juice Plus and are happy with it as it helps keep the person healthy and they do not experience getting sick in the same way that they used to. Pictured below is the Vineyard, which was the one used in the test to determine its effect on the heart and circulatory system. In order for a person to be in good health, the blood vessels and arteries must have 'elasticity'. This helps protect the blood vessels from having cholesterol build up, thus helping the blood to flow more easily. This is exactly what Juice Plus vineyard is good at! It is good for the circulatory system of your body.
If you go to my Juice Plus page, you can find information on the clinical research being done and results of the effects of taking Juice Plus. Juice Plus Info

Beautiful Breakfast

I am not a breakfast eater, but when I saw a pudding on the internet that was supposed to be for breakfast, I decided to get my pudding spoon out and make some tapioca pudding for breakfast. I am taking the recipe on the side of the box from Kraft 'Minute Tapioca'. There is a recipe also on the box for tapioca cream, which I think is similar. I cut the recipe in half because I am not going to eat that much pudding by myself in a short period of time. I can always make more if I want some.

Tapioca Pudding

1/6 cup sugar ( I used 3 Tablespoons Stevia)
1 1/2 TBSP Minute Tapioca (you can use any brand, as long as it is 'minute' tapioca
1 3/8 cups milk
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla (I also used a little Grand Marnier)

Mix sugar (stevia), tapioca, milk and egg in medium saucepan; let stand 5 minutes.
Cook on medium heat stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla or flavoring.
Pudding thickens as it cools.
Cool 20 minutes; stir. Serve warm or chilled. store leftover pudding in refrigerator. Makes about 3 (1/2 cup servings).
But here is what I did a little differently. I took some fruit like kiwi and strawberry and cut them up and layered them with the pudding in a stemmed glass. Serve with whipped cream if you wish.
