Avocado Melon Protein Drink Recipe
I am going to give you my version of the recipe. The end product is light green and tastes yummy. The recipe is adapted from a recipe put out by the California Avocado Commission and calls for a whole avocado!
1/2 cup cut up avocado
1/2 cup cut up cantaloupe
*1 scoop vanilla flavored protein powder
*1 cup milk
scoop of fresh yogurt (optional)
Blend ingredients very well in a blender or food processor. Make sure the blender or food processor has plenty of headspace.
*Juice Plus puts out a protein powder called 'Complete'.
* I usually use raw cow, sheep, or goat's milk. Any milk will do though.
Measurements for avocado and cantaloupe are approximate. This can be custom made according to your taste preferences.
